The Warner Center Transportation Management Organization (TMO) was established as a 501c4 in 1989, one of the nation’s first and foremost TMOs, in response to federal and regional air quality mandates to reduce pollution associated with automobiles. For decades, the Warner Center TMO assisted employers in meeting regulations set by the Southern California Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD).

In 2017, the City of Los Angeles and LADOT initiated a plan to refresh the TMO and realign its services to advance the mobility goals outlined in the Warner Center Specific Plan. Warner Connects expands upon the scope of the original TMO by focusing on residents and visitors, as well as employers, and integrating the latest in new mobility technologies and services.

For several years, Warner Connects was spearheaded by an Advisory Board composed of outstanding individuals dedicated to the greater good of the Warner Center area. Thanks to the commitment and guidance of that Advisory Board, Warner Connects was able to transition its leadership to an official Board of Directors in February 2022.
